Academic work A series of three posters for the 23rd fashion show of Art Academy of Latvia titled “Fashion Scream”. For the conceptual basis I chose a quote from bachelors’ fashion design course student Loreta Asermane: “How do you understand the words “fashion scream”? A loud, sudden change or event in fashion that everyone sees, but not everyone is fond of. (Sprinkled chili).” In the posters the red t-shirts represent the chili, which are mixed in with monochromatic clothes, then cooked and eaten, metaphorically showing the creation and integration of new fashion trends, any persons’ attitude towards them.
